The Capital Unity Council (CUC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) formed in 1999 in response to a series of hate crimes in the Sacramento region dating back to 1993. The policies and priorities of CUC are directed by a diverse and committed Board of Directors with the goal of developing educational programs, responding to acts of hate and bias and building the California Unity Center.
