Music, food, stories and dance—the timeless expressions of our culture—dominate the third floor. Whether attending a culture festival or a town hall meeting, the objective is the same: to forge the foundation of a community
committed to unity and harmony.

Pledge Launch

Watch your image emerge on the three-story animated, digital sculpture called the Touchstone after you pledge your commitment to use what you have learned—the culminating experience in the California Unity Center.

Tools That Build Community

Build community in the discovery of shared values and diverse traditions through a celebration of music, food, dance, storytelling and scheduled festivals. From this floor visitors will launch their pledges for commitment to change.

Unity Hall

Gather for community programs and events that the Center, along with its community partners, will create to promote the tools for action. Host an event to celebrate cultural traditions, attend a symposium to learn more about a diversity issue, engage in the dialogue of a town hall meeting, meet others in an impromptu response to incidents of violence, or join others to formulate a community-based strategic plan.
